Telangana Cops Nab Burglar Involved in 22 Thefts

 Warangal: The Subedari police on Saturday nabbed an inter-district burglar involved in 22 thefts and seized Rs 3,900 and a cutting player from his possession here in Hanamkonda on Saturday.

Inspector P. Satyanarayana Reddy said the accused identified as Bhutaraju Sandeep, 21, was a resident of Deen Dayal Nagar of Hanamkonda city. He was working in a private hospital as a receptionist.

Addicted to consuming alcohol and luxurious life and easy money, Sandeep broke shops and houses by conducting recce in Hanamkonda and Hyderabad.

Last year, he was caught by police in a theft case and sent to jail. After being released from jail, he did not mend his ways and carried out thefts.

When police were conducting a vehicle check at Hunter Road, Sandeep began to run. Noticing him, the police chased and caught him. After interrogation he confessed to his thefts. The police arrested him.
