Orange Alert Issued Across Telangana

Hyderabad: The Meteorological Centre has issued a yellow alert for the next two days, starting today, predicting thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds (30-40 kmph) likely to occur at isolated places in the districts of Komaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalapally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Suryapet, Mahabubabad, Warangal, Hanamkonda, and Jangaon.
For August 29, thunderstorms with lightning and gusty winds are expected at isolated places in Adilabad, Komaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalapally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Suryapet, Mahabubabad, Warangal, Hanamkonda, and Jangaon districts.
An orange alert has been issued for August 30 and 31. On August 30, thunderstorms with lightning and gusty winds are likely at isolated places in Adilabad, Komaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalapally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Suryapet, Mahabubabad, Warangal, Hanamkonda, and Jangaon, with heavy rain expected at isolated places in Komaram Bheem, Mancherial, Jagityala, Rajanna Siricilla, Karimnagar, Khammam, Mahabubabad, Warangal, and Hanamkonda.
On August 31, heavy to very heavy rain is likely at isolated places in Komaram Bheem, Mancherial, Jagityala, Rajanna Siricilla, Karimnagar, Khammam, Mahabubabad, Warangal, and Hanamkonda. Additionally, heavy rain is likely at isolated places in Nalgonda, Suryapet, Jangaon, Yadadri, Hyderabad, Medchal-Malkajgiri, Medak, and Kamareddy districts.
Heavy to very heavy rain is also predicted at isolated places in Adilabad, Komaram Bheem, Mancherial, Nirmal, Nizamabad, and Jagityala districts.
