TGBIE Extends Merit Scholarship Application to Nov 30

Hyderabad: The Telangana Board of Intermediate Education (TGBIE) has announced an extension of dates for fresh and renewal applications under the National Merit Scholarship. Students now have until November 30 to complete their submissions online. The extension applies to two categories: students who cleared the Intermediate examination in 2024 and wish to apply for the scholarship for the first time, and those who were previously selected for the scholarship and aer seeking renewal. The board has also set a deadline of December 15 for verification by the institute nodal officer (INO). A list of students securing the top 20 percentile from IPE 2024 has been made available. A total of 59,355 students from OBC, SC, and ST categories have been shortlisted. The list is available on the TBIE’s official website.
