Telangana: Godavari Water Level at Bhadrachalam Reaches 39 Feet

 Bhadadri-Kothagudem: The Godavari water level at Bhadrachalam rose to 39 feet on Tuesday evening. It is expected that the level would rise to 43 feet later at night, when the first warning would be issued.

District collector Jithesh V. Patil instructed the officials to be alert in view of increase in water levels. People in low-lying areas were also cautioned to be alert. Officials asked the people not to come out of the houses unless it was an emergency.
