Telangana: Man Accused in POCSO Case Sentenced to 3 Years Prison

 Hyderabad: A Rangareddy district court sentenced once Gosukonda Anji Reddy to three years of rigorous imprisonment for attempted sexual assault on a minor. The incident occurred in the LB Nagar police station limits in 2020, where Reddy was apprehended and the investigations confirmed his involvement.

Following the investigation, a chargesheet was filed. The court found Reddy guilty of the charges and imposed the sentence of three-year RI. In addition to the prison term, a fine of Rs 6,000 was levied on Anji Reddy. The victim was awarded compensation of `1 lakh for the trauma she endured.
