Telangana Police donate Rs 11 crore to CMRF for flood relief

Hyderabad: Director General of Police (DGP) Jithender and other senior officials handed over a cheque for Rs 11 crore (one day’s salary of the police personnel in the State) to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) for helping people affected by the recent floods in the state.

The DGP along with Home Secretary Ravi Gupta, Intelligence Chief B. Shivadhar Reddy handed over the cheque to Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Wednesday.

Erstwhile Warangal and Khammam districts in the state were badly hit by the recent floods.
