In filmy style, Nalgonda police capture Parthi gang
Nalgonda: In cinematic style, Nalgonda police on Friday chased a gang of thieves, known as the Parthi gang, involved in a series of robberies, on the Outer Ring Road (ORR) near Pedda Amberpet.
The gang attempted to speed away when the Nalgonda Central Crime Station (CCS) police tried to stop them. The chase continued till Hayathnagar, Abdullapurmet. When the police tried to arrest the gang members, the robbers, armed with knives, attempted to attack the cops.
The group of 10 policemen then fired at the robbers, which appeared to unnerve them and immediately the police took them into custody. Nalgonda police had been tracking the gang for some time and finally traced them to the ORR.
The suspects have since been taken into custody for investigation. The police seized multiple weapons and stolen goods from their possession.
