Telangana: Railway Police Prevent Woman’s Suicide Attempt

 Nizamabad: The Nizamabad railway police have prevented a tragic incident by rescuing a woman who attempted to take her own life on the railway tracks.

The victim, identified as Thomati Priyanka from Machareddy in Kamareddy district, had been facing domestic abuse from her husband, Santosh, for the past few months. Desperate and overwhelmed, Priyanka decided to end her life.

Before attempting suicide, Priyanka contacted her father, who immediately alerted the Banswada police. The police tracked her mobile number and discovered her location near Nizamabad railway station.

Acting swiftly, the Nizamabad railway police, led by sub-inspector H. Sai Reddy, rushed to the scene. With the help of his team, Ravi Kumar, Sudheer, and Supriya, they successfully rescued Priyanka from the tracks and reunited her with her family. The timely intervention of the railway police saved Priyanka’s life and provided her with the opportunity to seek help and support.
