CM Revanth plans Gachibowli sports hub

Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Sunday presented prizes to the athletes who participated in a marathon organized by NMDC at Gachibowli Stadium.

Speaking on the occasion, Revanth Reddy highlighted the state government's commitment to advancing sports, criticizing the previous BRS government for neglecting this sector. He pointed out the government's efforts to channel Telangana's youth into sports and pledged to restore the state's past glory in athletics.
Revanth Reddy announced plans to transform Gachibowli into a sports village and revealed that a Young India Sports University would be established next academic year with a focus on preparing athletes for the Olympics. The Chief Minister also promised that international-level coaching would be provided, and stadiums would be upgraded to international standards to host Olympic events in Hyderabad.
He also expressed his vision for Telangana to become a premier destination for sports in the country.
