Telangana State Govt Sponsors Four Students in US

HYDERABAD: The agriculture department will foot the expenses of four students from the state who are pursuing their masters in the US. Two students each will be from the Prof. Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University and Sri Konda Laxman Telangana State Horticultural University. The government will pay Rs 55.5 lakh for each student, amounting to Rs 2.22 crore; the amount has been released.

In a release, the department said, “Students from these universities who completed their degrees in 2023-24, 2024-25 and 2025-26 can pursue postgraduation from Auburn University in Alabama state of the US. Four students have been identified.

It said that Auburn University had selected the students based on their research interest and line of work. The selected students were: G. Aishwarya, B. Pravallika, M. Pavani and Nidha Begum.
