Telangana students to visit Himachal Pradesh under Yuva Sangam

Hyderabad: To strengthen people-to-people connect and build empathy between the youth of various States, the Ministry of Education launched the ‘Yuva Sangam’, a youth exchange programme under Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat (EBSB).

The idea of Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat was conceptualized by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi to create a structured and sustained cultural connect between various States and UTs. Yuva Sangam is an ongoing cultural exchange with the celebration of diversity at its core wherein participants gain an immersive experience of diverse facets of life, natural landforms, development landmarks, recent achievements, and youth connect in the host state through exposure tours of five to seven days.

As a part of Yuva Sangam phase -V, students from Telangana will be visiting NIT, Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh under Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat Yuva Sangam programs from December 22 to 29. Fifty selected students from Telangana will visit during this programme.

Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) was nominated as a nodal university to carry out the programs in Telangana. The Ministry of Education has teamed up MANUU with NIT, Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh. The Yuva Sangam, under Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat (EBSB), is an exposure visit of youth to various States.
