Telangana Teams Advance to Semi-finals of National 9th Softbaseball Tournament

Adilabad:The second day of the 9th National Sub-junior and Youth Softbaseball Tournament for boys and girls, held at the Balagangadhar Tilak Stadium in Bellampalli, saw thrilling matches on Wednesday.

In the men's category, Kerala, Haryana, and Madhya Pradesh teams reached the semi-finals, while Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, and Rajasthan advanced in the women's category.

In the Sub-junior boys' event, Kerala, Telangana, Madhya Pradesh, and Tamil Nadu teams secured their places in the semi-finals. State Association President Ravi Kumar confirmed that the semi-finals and finals will take place on Thursday.

The tournament was officially inaugurated by local MLA Gaddam Vinod and Softbaseball Association State President Puliyala Ravikumar on Tuesday at the Balagangadhar Tilak Sports Stadium in Mancherial district.

Softbaseball state secretary Durgam Guravender Singh, joint secretary U. Venkatesh, and other officials, including Immanuel, Dinakar, Balaram, J. Venkataswamy, Babu Rao, and physical directors Raj Mohd and Shravan, oversaw the matches.
