Telangana: Two Arrested for Theft in Nalgonda, Gold and Silver Seized

Nalgonda: Kattangur police on Sunday arrested Itta Gopinath of Ibrahimpatnam of NTR district and Simmasthi Gopi of Magolu in Krishna district of Andhra Pradesh for theft, and seized 140 grams of gold and 150 grams of silver ornaments from their possession. Nalgonda DSP K. Shiva Ram Reddy said that the police arrested the duo on suspicion and verified their fingerprints with a database of criminals. When they found a match, the police questioned the duo who confessed to three thefts in Nalgonda, Khammam and Suryapet districts.

Malayalam Actor Vinayakan Detained at RGIA for Airport Disruption

Hyderabad: Vinayakan, a Malayalam actor, was taken into custody for a while for allegedly creating a ruckus at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) here on Sunday.

According to RGIA inspector Balaraju, the actor was allegedly in an inebriated state and got into an argument with airline staff. He was scheduled to take a flight to Goa. He was stopped for a while by the airline staff in view of his condition, and be began arguing with the staff.

The airline staff informed the CISF, who shifted the case to the RGIA police.
