Telangana: Two Dead, Five Injured in Road Accident

 Yadadri-Bhongir: Two individuals died on the spot, and five students sustained injuries when the car they were travelling in overturned after hitting a guardrail on the Warangal-Hyderabad highway near Bhongir on Wednesday. The injured were shifted to the area hospital in Bhongir.

The deceased have been identified as Mohammed Abdul, 25, the driver, and K. Yeshwanth, 19. The injured students were P. Arjun, K. Nithin, K. Srinivas, Mani Jayanth, and P. Sakeet.

The accident occurred at Bhongir-Bommapalli crossroads while the group was returning to Hyderabad from Yadagirigutta. All the victims are residents of Ramanthapur, Hyderabad. Yeshwanth, Arjun, Nithin, Srinivas, and Jayanth are Intermediate students, while Sakeet is a Class 9 student at a private school.

Police reported that the students had hired a car to visit the Yadagirigutta Sri Lakshminarsimha Swamy Temple. Initial investigations suggest overspeeding as the likely cause of the incident.
