Hyderabad: Union Minister and Telangana State BJP President G Kishan Reddy condemned the attack on Telangana State BJP office in Nampally by the Congress workers on Tuesday.

“Strongly condemn the Congress party's goondaism, which targeted our @BJP4Telangana office in Nampally, Hyderabad, inflicting severe injuries on our Karyakartas. It is deeply unfortunate that the state has plunged into lawlessness under the Congress government, where goons, thugs, and violence are being given a free hand,” said Kishan Reddy.

The Union Minister also demanded stringent action against the congress workers. “Goondaism has become the new norm under the Congress. Such violent attacks on our offices will not be tolerated at any cost, and I demand stringent action against these Congress goons,” he further said.

Earlier today, Congress workers hurled eggs on the BJP office at Nampally, protesting against the comments made by BJP MP Ramesh Bidhuri on Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi. Congress workers also burnt the effigy of Bidhuri in front of the BJP office for making unnecessary comments against Priyanka.

Police tried to stop the congress workers heading towards the BJP office from Market main road but few of them managed to reach the party office and hurled eggs. BJP and Congress workers attacked each other with sticks in which a BJP worker suffered head injuries. The injured party worker was taken to nearby private hospital for treatment.
