TGSRTC Management Blame Govt for Delay in Staff Payments
Hyderabad: The TGSRTC management blamed the Telangana state government for the delay in repayment of the fixed bond cum certificate payment for 27,000 employees. It claimed that although Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy had released a cheque for Rs 280 crore in February this year for payment to staff, the government had released Rs 80 crore so far.
This sum had been paid to driver category employees. The RTC was responding to a news report, '27K RTC staff await PRC salary arrears’ published in these columns on June 15.
Stating that the government was processing the release of the remaining Rs 200 crore, the TGSRTC said, "The same is being pursued by the management. The remaining employees will also be paid once the funds are received from the government.”
