Hyderabad: Three new criminal laws-Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam- which have replaced Indian Penal Code (IPC), Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC), and the Indian Evidence Act, respectively, came into force on a ‘historic’ Monday, said DGP Ravi Gupta after releasing posters in English and Telugu as part of an awareness campaign about the new laws, in his office.
