Tiger movement found on Telangana-Maharashtra border

ADILABAD: Three tigers were found moving on the Maharashtra side of the Penganga and they may enter Telangana by crossing the river at any time. Local villagers found the movement of the tigers on the other side of the river. A photograph in which three tigers were seen in the bushes went viral on Wednesday. It is said that the tigers are migrating to Adilabad of Telangana from the Thipepshwar Tiger Reserve of Maharashtra by crossing the river.

Adilabad forest officials said they got information that three tigers were moving between Ramnagar and Savargaon villages on the borders of Maharashtra, and they could enter Telangana any time. The officials asked the farmers of bordering areas in Bheempur mandal in Adilabad district of Telangana to be alert about the tiger movement.
