Tiger Scare in Adilabad Sparks Panic Among Farmers

Adilabad: The movement of a tiger in the Kerameri, Tiryani and Kagaznagar mandals in Komaram Bheem Asifabad district has left people panicky. Farmers and agriculture labourers are fearing to venture into the fields for weeding activities in their farms.

The big cat has been moving in Kerameri area, Karanjiwada, Anarpalli, Bhorilalguda, Lakmapur, Kota, Parandholi and Janakapur villages for the last few days. Kerameri sub-inspector Vijay asked people not to venture into forests and agriculture fields and to return home before sunset.

It is said a three-year-old tiger came out from tiger reserves of bordering Maharashtra and was recently found in Edulapahad.

The police asked people to share information about the tiger’s movement with Kerameri SI on 8712670530 and Kerameri FRO on 8074040814.
