Tirupatanna moves SC for bail in phone tapping case

Hyderabad: Tirupatanna, accused in a phone tapping case, has approached the Supreme Court seeking bail. The Telangana government has requested additional time to file a counter-affidavit. The Supreme Court bench, comprising Justices B.V. Nagarathna and Kotiswar Singh, has granted the state government two weeks to file its response. The next hearing is scheduled for December 18.
