Class 10 Student Dies as Speeding Truck Collides with Auto in Tarnaka

Hyderabad: A Class 10 student died, and an auto driver was grievously injured after a speeding truck collided with their auto at Tarnaka on Saturday morning. The impact caused the auto to crash into a bus.

The student, identified as Satwika (15), was rushed to the hospital along with the auto driver. Despite efforts, Satwika succumbed to her injuries while undergoing treatment.
Police arrived at the scene and, with the help of a crane, rescued the injured from the auto. The investigation is ongoing.

According to the police, a Class 10 student, Ranga Satwika, was traveling in an auto-rickshaw from her residence to school. When they reached near the Habsiguda traffic signal, the auto stopped behind an RTC bus. A truck struck the auto three times from behind, causing the auto to be pushed under the rear side of the RTC bus.

As a result, Satwika and the driver, Yellaiah, sustained serious injuries and were both shifted to a private hospital in Nacharam. Saathvika was declared dead upon arrival, while the auto driver sustained severe injuries, the police stated.
