US Independence Day celebrations by US Consulate, Dept. CM Bhatti Vikramarka attends

Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka was the chief guest at the United States 248th Independence Day celebrations at a hotel in Gachibowli organised by the US Consulate.

Hyderabad: Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu said that Hyderabad's relationship with the United States has become stronger and it will strengthen further in the coming days. He said Telugu people had an inextricable relationship with America.

He was the chief guest at the United States 248th Independence Day celebrations at a hotel in Gachibowli organised by the US Consulate. He received the salute from the US police, and was welcomed by Consul General Jennifer Larson.

Speaking at the event, he said that the US was a good ally of India, and the Telugu people had an inextricable relationship with America. He said that the Telugu language was growing rapidly in the United States, and in the coming days he would have to speak only in Telugu in such ceremonies.
The US warmly invited Indians and treated them with respect as citizens, he said. Bhatti added that Hyderabad had a special place in terms of friendship between America and India.
