Vigilance officials serve notice to HCA CEO

Hyderabad: The Vigilance and Enforcement officials, who conducted searches at the Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA), served a notice to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), HCA seeking details in connection with irregularities in the form of documents, records.
P Srinivas, Regional Vigilance and Enforcement office, served the notice to the CEO, asking to submit stipulated procedures for tenders and purchases made by the HCA including awarding IPL contracts and also pertaining to other matches and events of the HCA.
In the notice, the Vigilance and Enforcement officials sought details of all purchases including copies of connected documents such as approvals of Apex Council, general body, tender notifications, list of bidders and successful bidder, letter of award, agreements, invoices, copies of cheque payments, material delivery records, records in stores.
The officials also asked the CEO to submit details of IPL contracts such as catering, transpiration, services including copies of connected documents from March 11 202 till date. The Vigilance also focused on the status of Turf wicket preparation at Mahbubnagar and Nizamabad districts and if the work is delayed, reasons and circumstances for the same.
"The status of multi-level parking at the HCA, acknowledgements, served copies of financial statements on the members of the present Apex Council, stipulated team size of players for the Ranji Trophy matches, and other state level matches and respective number of tams members sent by the HCA and their details for the last three years such 2022, 2023 and 2024," the Vigilance officials asked in their notice.

The officials, who verified the records, also asked to submit details of annual grants, infrastructure grant, women's cricket grant and other financial assistance in any other form the BCCI to the HCA for the last three years from 2022, 2023 and 2024 and their utilization details.
