Warangal: Encroachers Attack Forest Officers During Night Patrol in Eturunagaram

Warangal: Two forest officers were attacked by encroachers during a night patrol in Gangaram, Tadwai Wildlife Range of Eturunagaram Wildlife Sanctuary in the midnight of Thursday. The incident occurred when the officers, upon receiving information, confronted individuals engaged in illegal encroachment using a tractor. The injured officers have been identified as Vinod, Forest Section Officer (FSO) and Sharath, Forest Beat Officer (FBO). Both officers sustained head and other bodily injuries and were admitted to a private hospital for treatment in Warangal.

The Forest Range Officer (FRO) has lodged a complaint with the police and efforts are underway to identify and apprehend the attackers.
