Warangal: After a two-year hiatus, the South Central Railway (SCR) authorities have resumed push-pull passenger train services between Warangal and Secunderabad, providing relief to passengers in Warangal. The service was previously halted due to the construction of a third railway line between Kazipet and Balharpur.

Before the suspension, the passenger train departed Warangal around 1.45 pm, stopping at all 16 stations en route to Secunderabad. However, the suspension of this service caused inconvenience for many travellers over the past two years.
During a recent visit to Warangal district, Union minister G. Kishan Reddy was informed of the issue by locals. He assured them that he would discuss the matter with railway authorities to expedite the service’s restoration.

Additionally, SCR has introduced a new train service between Bodhan and Karimnagar. The Nizamabad-Karimnagar MEMU Express Special (07893) departs from Bodhan at 4.15 am, covering 169 km and 10 stations, and arrives at Karimnagar at approximately 8.40 am, running daily from Monday to Sunday.
