WARANGAL: A woman named Rajitha died from a dog bite on Friday in Jayashankar Bhupalpally. According to sources, Rajitha was bitten a month ago and received treatment at the local 100-bed hospital.

After being administered an anti-rabies injection, she fell seriously ill and was subsequently transferred to Yashoda Hospital in Hyderabad. Despite treatment, Rajitha succumbed to multi-organ failure.

Her family alleged that negligence by the Jayashankar Bhupalpally hospital staff led to her death, claiming the anti-rabies injection adversely affected her health. Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the exact cause of her death.
