We are there for every religion: Revanth
Hyderabad: Chanting ‘manava seve - madhava seva’ (serving humanity is serving God), Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy stated that the Telangana government has taken equal care of all communities as it respects every religion and accords freedom and opportunities to all faiths. There is no distinction between caste, creed and religion, he affirmed.
“This government belongs to all and strives for communal harmony. We will ensure arrangements for every religious function. We take this as our responsibility,” he said at NTR stadium here on Sunday.
The Chief Minister was addressing an impressive turnout of devotees at the Rath yatra celebrations organized by Sri Sri Radha Madanmohan of Iskcon at Abids.
Iskcon has done a good programme in Hyderabad and the state government welcomes it, he said, while greeting everyone present on the occasion.
He said that participating in the Rath yatra gave a good feeling. He said prayers of Iskcon will benefit the state and usher in its prosperity.
Lauding the efforts of Iskcon, he said that the state government will always support programmes that convey good messages.
