Zomato Warehouse Inspection Reveals Future Packing Dates on Food Items

Hyderabad: Zomato Hyperpure Pvt Ltd warehouse in Kukatpally was found with a package of button mushrooms with a date of packing yet to arrive at the time of inspection.

The task force officials conducted an inspection on October 29 and found the date of packing as October 30, 2024. While the establishment was operating with proper licences displayed at prominent places at the premises, it did not have any insect proof screen to avoid entry of insects.

Houseflies were found all over the premises. A few food handlers were found without haircaps and aprons. Medical Fitness certificates for food handlers and Pest control records for the premises were available with the FBO.
