The actor secures third place at the Dubai 24H racing event; offers life advice, drawing on lessons from the track

Actor Ajith Kumar made another mark in motorsports as his team, Ajith Kumar Racing by Bas Koeten, secured third place in the 991 category at the 24H Dubai 2025 endurance race. The team also received the ‘Spirit of the Race’ award in the GT4 category. Congratulations poured in from across the entertainment industry, including from fellow actors Madhavan (who was present at the Dubai venue), Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan, as well as Tamil Nadu Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin and director Aadhik Ravichandran.
Ajith has released a special video thanking fans who had gathered in substantial numbers at the Dubai racing event, offering both gratitude and guidance. In the recorded message, Ajith shared his deep-rooted passion for motorsports while highlighting the collaborative nature of endurance racing. He emphasized the fundamental values of family, dedication and maintaining equilibrium in both triumph and setback. “Motorsports has been my life-long passion,” Ajith said. “When you do something you like, if you succeed, it’s good. But, if you don’t achieve success, don’t get tired. Competition is more important. Don’t give up your willpower and dedication.”
The actor drew parallels between endurance racing and the film industry while explaining the intricacies of the sport. Notably, he addressed the ongoing social media conflicts among fan groups with a plea for harmony. “Life is very short. Be happy and focus on your goals. Take care of your families. That’s more important,” he urged.
Regarding his film career, Ajith announced that he would stay away from new film commitments until September this year, and consider new projects from October to March.
