Smart helmet that lets you chat with fellow riders
The Sena smart helmet for cycling is equipped with a fully integrated Bluetooth system and QHD camera.
Sena Technologies Inc, recently unveiled the world’s first Bluetooth and QHD action camera – integrated cycling helmet.
Users can stay in touch with up to three riding companions within a half-mile (900m) range, through the helmet’s intercom system. Moreover, it even consists of a hands-free phone call ability. Users can listen to music, monitor speed, cadence and heart rate too.
The data is stored on a MicroSD card in the helmet which can be transferred through WiFi if users wish to watch, edit or share the trip. There are two separate mobile apps that essentially drive the system’s camera and headset. What’s more? There’s an optional accessory that puts those controls right on the handlebars.
Sena’s smart helmet is expected to be available in the next few months at a retail price of $349.
