Skullcandy is known for offering premium earphones and headphones to the audiophiles with a blend of style and comfort. Recently the company unveiled its Ink’d Wireless for the Indian market at a price of Rs 3,999. Is it worth shelling out your money? Let’s find out.

The new Ink’d Wireless retains the same design as its predecessor Ink’d earphones, but this time with Bluetooth capabilities. The earphones sport a flexible collar that holds the cables connecting the earphones.

The collar houses the volume rockers, a built-in microphone for calls alongside an LED light and the charging port. The collar also packs in a battery that claims to offer a backup of 8 hours. We managed to use the Ink’d Wireless for about 6 hours on a single charge.

The company has smartly stuffed features in the volume buttons. Users can switch tracks by pressing the volume key for 3 seconds. Pressing the play/pause button for 3 seconds will allow users to pair their smartphones with the Ink’d Wireless.

The Ink’d Wireless is a super lightweight earphone, weighing only 24 grams, also the collar is adjustable, making it even more comfortable for user’s collar bone.

Talking of the audio quality, the Ink’d Wireless offer a decent audio output and crisp sound quality, and are capable of eliminating the ambient noise. The only aspect this earphone disappoints is the bass level. The Ink’d will probably leave the bass lover dissatisfied.

Overall the Skullcandy Ink’d Wireless are a good offering at this price point. You might wanna give it a miss if you are looking for an earphone with good bass and crisp low range music.

However it can be good bargain for users in search of a handy, stylish and lightweight earphone that offers decent audio quality. Also you get a Skullcandy tag for your gadget portfolio at this price point, which makes it worth buying.
