Turn off these phone settings for privacy

Nowadays smartphone users are very particular when it comes to data privacy but the phones do hear us and send ads. People become anxious about what phones will listen to and what they do with the information.
A feature in your google account captures your audio recordings, interactions with digital assistants and more. Sometimes, when you have a random conversation with your wife or husband or friends and suddenly an ad pops up on your phone related to the conversation.
These three settings will help you prevent Google from eavesdropping.
1. Open your Google App and click on your profile icon
Then select Google account and go to Data and Privacy
Then click on Web and App activity and uncheck “Voice and audio activity”
2. Click on My ad center in Personalised ads and turn it off
3. Open Google Maps and click on your profile icon
Select “Your data in Maps” and turn off location history.
4. For iPhone, Open Settings > Privacy & Security > Microphone.
You can see the list of apps and switch off the microphone for the apps that you want.
Android users follow these steps:
Go to Settings, then Privacy and go to Permission Manager.
You can see the list of apps and switch off the microphone for the apps that you want. This will prevent those apps from accessing your mic.
