Indian Railways website allegedly hacked by al-Qaeda

The website was hacked and replaced by a message from the hackers.

The message encouraged people to participate in 'jihad' and help defeat the United States and its allies

Mumbai: On Tuesday, the microsite of Railnet page of the Indian Railways website was allegedly hacked by the terror group Al Qaeda. The Personnel Department of the Central Railway page, and a part of the department’s intranet service was hacked and replaced by a message from Al Qaeda chief in south Asia, Maulana Aasim Umar.

The message encouraged people to participate in 'jihad' and help defeat the United States and its allies.
