Another recent IBM study says the main reasons for adopting Hybrid cloud is lowering total cost of ownership, facilitating innovation, enhancing operational efficiency, and meeting customer satisfaction easily.

The IBM study, based on in-person interviews and surveys of more than 1,000 C-suite executives, also pointed out that companies who currently use Hybrid Cloud infrastructure can easily expand their business, create new revenue sources, and support business models.

Several firms including Microsoft, Dell-EMC, Hewlett-Packet Enterprise, Amazon Web Services, and several others are trying to benefit from the growing Hybrid cloud industry.

Cloud is the future but faces risk from security attacks which might prove costly for companies. With the right set of compliance standards, secure connectivity, firewalls and gateways deployed, Cloud can prove to be so much more than a secure extension to the on-premise deployment.
