Apple MacBook Pro is the most successful model ever
The new MacBook has had more pre-orders than any of its existing predecessors
Apple’s new Macbook model has generated a large number of reactions recently, both positive and negative. There are potential buyers who are excited about the new TouchBar and other upgrades, while there are others who claim the laptop needs to go through a massive revamp so as to stay in the competition in comparison to the other devices such as the Surface Book by Microsoft.
As far as the Cupertino based company is concerned, the controversy around the new MacBook is absolutely normal, as Apple products have frequently been a contender for major criticism, but successful later on.
Senior VP of Worldwide Marketing for Apple, Phil Schiller, has stated that the company is pleased with the decisions made for the MacBook Pro, despite the disparagement, confirming that everyone’s expecting the model to post better sales after it becomes available.
“There has certainly been a lot of passionate dialogue and debate about the new MacBook Pro. Many things have impressed people about it, and some have caused some controversy,” he said.
Judging from early orders that Apple has received for the MacBook Pro, the company feels optimistic about the sales. At this point, the majority of configurations can only be shipped in 6 weeks which is soonest, as Apple is finding it difficult to align production with given demand. This makes the MacBook Pro one of the most successful MacBook ever, despite its hefty price of $4,299.
