Twitter promise to take action on accounts violating its policies

Twitter has introduced the new Twitter Reader app for Amazon’s Voice platform Alexa, allowing it to read tweets on an echo speaker or any Alexa-powered device

The micro-blogging website also said the new app is capable of providing general information or trending content, apart from delivering information from an user’s account. Other than that, the virtual assistant app also mentions when an user’s tweet is tagged, liked or re-tweeted.

After validating their account, users need to say “Alexa, open Twitter” to launch the fancy app. Users can try out different commands to ask questions related to re-tweets, trends and tags.

The app can also look out for location-specific and filtered content; however, it doesn’t yet support push notifications.
