The Cardboard camera app is now available for both, Android and iOS users.

In the effort to enhance the photography experience, Google has now launched the ‘Cardboard Camera’ app for iOS users. With this app, you can now capture 3D 360-degree virtual reality photos.

VR photos taken with this app are three-dimensional panoramas. In other words, you can explore the image in all directions and even record the sound while you take the photo to experience the moment exactly as it happened. In order to capture a VR photo, simply hold your phone vertically and tap record. Turn around just as you are taking a panorama. You can even share these pictures with your friends and family by creating a virtual photo album and sharing the link that gets generated thereafter.

Over 5 million moments have already been captured with the Cardboard Camera app, which was already available for Android devices. You download the app on Play Store and iTunes for free.
