Pokemon Go addict gets stabbed, continues his hunt
The incident unfolded as he asked a complete stranger if he was also playing the game and wanted to battle him.
A 22-year-old young man has proved the outrageous craze surrounding Nintendo’s augmented reality game as he continued playing after being stabbed on July 13.
According to several foreign media reports, Micheal Baker went out to catch Pokemons in Forest Grove Oregon yesterday when he was stabbed but the ‘pocket-monster obsessed’ man surprisingly refused treatment and pursued his quest to ‘catch ‘em all.’
The incident unfolded as he asked a complete stranger if he was also playing the game and wanted to battle him. Shockingly, the other man reacted bizarrely and stabbed Baker on his shoulder.
The police also confirmed that the incident had, in fact, taken place and the story wasn’t made up. The lad had denied going to the hospital in search of his quest.
Pokemon Go is the popular augmented reality game which has skyrocketed to success in all many parts of the world and in many other parts where it’s not yet available (via third party developers).
It has got mixed review from both fans and critics; however, this game will definitely have an impact on the AR handset gaming domain in future.
On the contrary, it is also being used by criminals to attract targets and users should be a bit careful while they set out on their quest to capture the pocket monsters.
