Google Assistant finally available on Android Auto

The voice assistant will initially launch in seven countries before expanding worldwide.

With the Assistant being fully integrated, you can ask the assistant to perform various tasks such as playing music, listening to the news, etc.

Google has recently announced that its Assistant is now integrated into Android Auto. So whether you have a compatible car - or the Android Auto app - you can now have hands-free help while you drive.

Upon launch, the Google Assistant will have support for various commands such as Read and reply to your messages, call your contacts and complete tasks. With the latter, you can also ask the Assistant to complete tasks such as adding an item to your shopping list or setting reminders.

With Google Assistant, you can ask it to start your commute and help you find the things you need on the go, such as petrol pumps restaurants and shops. Apart from this, it can help you to navigate to specific places by way of either Google Maps or Waze.

With the Assistant being fully integrated, you can ask the assistant to perform various tasks such as playing music, listening to the news, as well as the ability to send an email or find something in Gmail.

You can also get answers on the things relevant for you when you drive, such as opening hours for shops and restaurants nearby. You can also get answers for the things you love, such as sports and entertainment.

Though Android Auto is available in more than 30 countries, Google will be rolling out its Assistant to Australia, France, Germany, United Kingdom, and the United States initially, before heading worldwide.
