Lamborghini-esqe bike revealed
The bike takes its inspiration from the design of a Lamborghini
Estonian bicycle designer Indrek Narusk had created the very unique looking stainless steel Viks bike. This release was followed by the unveiling of the carbon fiber Viks Carbon in 2015. In latest news, Narusk has announced the all-aluminium alloy Viks GT — with its design inspired from Lamborghinis.
In line with its predecessors, the single-speed belt-drive GT’s frame essentially consists of two side-by-side tubular frames joined together at the head tube, seat tube and bottom bracket. On previous models, the frame corners were rounded off but the Viks GT has sharp and pointy — just like the sharp lines in a Lamborghini.
The use of aluminium alloy makes the GT 40 percent lighter than the original stainless steel version. Although no precise weight has been provided, the bike will be tipping the scales at less than 10 kilos.
According to Narusk’s company, Velonia Bicycles, the batch of cycles would be available in a range of Lamborghini colors soon. Pricing has yet to be determined.
