Yahoo updates its Messenger app for Windows, and Mac
The updated Messenger will also give desktop notifications.
Yahoo has rolled out an update on its messenger app for Windows and Mac, allowing users to send messages, along with photos and GIFs as well.
The update consists a ‘drag and drop feature’, which will let users to share multiple photos at once and ‘like’ any posts or images that stand out to them.
The updated Messenger will also give desktop notifications, in order to help users do multitasking at their computers without missing an important message.
Yahoo has also introduced an ‘unsend’ button, via which users can take back a message, photo or GIF.
The Yahoo Messenger desktop app is available for download on Windows and Mac. However, users are required to upgrade the app by August 5 as the legacy Yahoo Messenger app will no longer function past that date.
