HTC's virtual reality app now available for users

The app store will act as a one-stop shop for users to explore, create, and even purchase VR content while connecting with other customers.

After months of working closely with developers, HTC finally launches its app store for virtual reality called Viveport.

The app store will act as a one-stop shop for users to explore, create, and even purchase VR content while connecting with other customers.

‘We believe Viveport is the place where customers will start their journey into new virtual reality experiences,’ Rikard Steiber, president of Viveport, said in a statement.

HTC will also be introducing Viveport Premieres titles such as Everest VR, Google Spotlight Stories Pearl, Lifeliqe, Stonehenge VR, The Music Room and more.

Users will be able to buy marquee titles like theBlu, Mars Odyssey, the Music Room and Firebird at a special price of $1 in the first 48-hours.
