Samsung Galaxy A (2017) series pricing confirmed

Samsung announced the launch of Galaxy A series (2017) models at CES 2017. The latest line-up includes a A5 and A3 smartphones.

The Galaxy A is available in four colors including Black Sky, Gold Sand, Blue Mist and Peach Cloud. Samsung has also upgraded the camera module for the A series.

Samsung has reportedly announced the pricing of its latest A (2017) series smartphones. The Galaxy A3 (2017) and the Galaxy A5 (2017) are expected to go on sale for EUR 329 (approx. Rs 23,500) and EUR 429 (approx. Rs 30,600) respectively.

The Galaxy A features a metal frame and 3D glass back with a sleek camera and home key. The Galaxy A is available in four colors including Black Sky, Gold Sand, Blue Mist and Peach Cloud. Samsung has also upgraded the camera module for the A series.

Both A5 and A3 are IP68 water and dust resistant, for the first time, and are said to have improved battery life, with the A5 shipping with Samsung's Fast Charging technology built in. 

The A3 has a 2,350mAh battery, while the A5's battery is 3,000mAh. There are other subtle differences too. The Galaxy A5 runs on a 1.9GHz octa core processor; the A3 runs on 1.6GHz. The Galaxy A3 comes equipped with a 13MP rear camera while there is an 8MP front facing camera. Both front and rear cameras on the A5 are 16MP.
