Dual-SIM iPhone X Plus imagined: 6.5-inch display, bigger notch and more
A concept video of Apple's fabled big iPhone X for 2018 is imagined in new colours and a dual SIM port.
Apple’s iPhone X is one of the highly-desired status symbols one can own presently. However, despite its exorbitant price, the 2017 Apple flagship may not be outlandish enough for some, which is why there’s a hope for a bigger and even more expensive iPhone X Plus. While the Internet is afloat with rumours of this fabled phablet-sized modern iPhone, someone on YouTube has gone ahead with a concept video of the iPhone X Plus. What’s staggering is the presence of a dual SIM port — a first for an Apple smartphone.
Yes, ConceptsiPhone has imagined Apple going for a bigger iPhone X Plus with a dual SIM port. The video also shows the iPhone X Plus in a new gold colour variant in addition to the white and grey variants. The iPhone X Plus appears to be a stretched iPhone X from every side, which is why the notch also appears slightly bigger than the one we have seen on the iPhone X. The vertically stacked rear dual camera setup is retained. Nothing else can be deciphered from the video.
Since this is a concept video, you should keep yourself contended with the fact that this is simply an Apple fan’s imagination. There are still months to go before Apple unveils its flagship offerings for 2018. If the iPhone X Plus becomes a reality, we expect Apple to work towards reducing the notch while making the FaceID hardware compact. The rumours of Apple unveiling three new iPhones this September has been on the market for a few months and speculations of a 6.5-inch iPhone with OLED display has been predicted by noted Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. We could also see a refreshed iPhone SE for those looking to make themselves a part of the exclusive Apple club without burning holes in their pockets.
