Samsung Galaxy Note 9 to incorporate in-screen fingerprint sensor
The Galaxy S9 models will come with the new feature including iris scanning recognition as well as dual camera setup.
There have been several reports floating around about how the in-screen fingerprint sensor is a problematic feature to implement for giants such as Apple and Samsung. According top a new report by KGI Securities, Samsung might introduce the feature with its Galaxy Note 9 smartphone. This also indicates that the company won’t bring the feature on its S series smartphones.
The report also suggests that Samsung doesn’t plan on risking the quick implementation of the feature with its S series smartphones. Apple has also reportedly dropped its plans to bring the feature on its upcoming iPhone 8.
KGI also predicts Samsung will place the fingerprint scanner on the rear panel of the Galaxy S9 smartphone, just like the one seen on the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+.
