Moto X4 India launch set for November 13

Moto X4 which was showcased back in September at IFA 2017, Berlin, is finally making its way to the sub-continental shore. The company recently confirmed that the device is scheduled for a November 13 launch and will be sold exclusively through the e-commerce platform in India.  The smartphone sells for $400 (approximately 26,000) in US market.

As for the specifications, the Moto X4 sports a 5.2-inch display with 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. It is powered by a Snapdragon 630 octa-core processor coupled with 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage, which is expandable up to 2TB. The device runs on Android 7.1 Nougat and supports a single-SIM slot (Nano).

One of the biggest highlights of the Moto X4 is the integration of Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant support for voice-based search. It is also IP68 certified water and dust resistant. The device also has a new three-finger screenshot gesture and comes with an inbuilt password manager called Moto Key.

The Moto X4 comes equipped with 12 MP/f2.0 and 8 MP/f2.2 dual-camera sensors on the rear panel, while there is a 16MP/f2.0 sensor up front. The connectivity options include NFC, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, GPS, 4G LTE, and other standard features. The device draws power from a 3000mAh battery and will ship in two colour variants — Super Black and Sterling Blue.
