Micromax Bharat 5 Pro with 5000mAh battery, Face unlock launched: Specs and price
The Micromax Bharat 5 Pro comes with the same price tag as the base model of the Redmi 5.
Micromax has launched an entry-level smartphone — Bharat 5 Pro in India which was squarely aimed at Xiaomi Redmi 5, launched on March 14. Moreover, both the smartphones come with the same price tag. The Micromax Bharat 5 Pro carries a price tag of Rs 7,999, which is the same price as the base model of the Redmi 5. The key highlight of the Bharat 5 is its large 5000mAh battery, face unlock feature and an LED flash module for the front shooter.

The Bharat 5 Pro features a 5.2-inch display with a resolution of 1280x720 pixels. The handset is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB storage. Perhaps the USP of the Bharat 5 Pro is its large 5000mAh battery which claims to deliver more than two days of usage on a single charge and up to 21 days of standby time. Comparatively, Xiaomi’s Redmi 5, on the other hand, is said to deliver up to 17 days of standby time.
On the photography front, the Bharat 5 Pro sports a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front shooter with LED flash. The connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, MicroUSB, and GPS. The smartphone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat.
