New BlackBerry smartphones to be launched at CES 2017
Chinese company TCL confirmed that the new BlackBerry smartphones will be unveiled at CES, 2017.
BlackBerry announced a few weeks ago that the Chinese company TCL will continue to launch BlackBerry-branded smartphones for the next few years. While we know that new smartphones from BlackBerry are already on their way but what we weren’t aware of was the exact time. A new teaser now confirms that the speculated BlackBerry-branded smartphones will be unveiled at the CES event in 2017.
TCL will be in charge of the design, manufacture and sale of the speculated devices. “We've reached a point in our industry when we must boldy go where no other handset manufacturer has gone before; evolving how we serve our customers and consumers. Business and market growth must go beyond just delivering value-focused handsets, and must now include a much more complete portfolio of devices and brands,” said Steve Cistulli, President and General Manager for TCL Communication (TCT),
He even went on to say that TCL will unveil more about the company’s plans at the CES, 2017 which is set to kick off on January 5. He also said that TCL will be showcasing the “legacy of the BlackBerry smartphone brand,” but the company will also provide fans a glimpse into what the next generation BlackBerry phones will offer.
