HTC confirms Nougat for HTC 10, One M9 and One A9
HTC has revealed that Android Nougat will be released for a few devices this year.
HTC has finally revealed, on its Twitter, account that it will update some of its smartphones Android 7.0 Nougat. The update will be released OTA later this year.
Of the smartphones that will receive the new Android OS update, the unlocked HTC 10 will be first to get the 7.0 Nougat during the fourth quarter.
HTC will later follow the new OS updates on the unlocked One M9 and then the unlocked One A9. However, HTC hasn’t specified any timing for these two phones, whether it will be this year, or during the first quarter of 2017.
Earlier, HTC had promised that Nougat will be released to the HTC 10 within 15 days of Google's Nexus’s Nougat launch, which was rolled out on August 22. However, the new tweet does not explain why HTC hasn’t kept its promise.
