Several reports suggest that the company might unveil their smartphone at the Mobile World Congress event that is scheduled to take place in February next year.

Samsung is reportedly concentrating on releasing its upcoming flagship, the Galaxy S8 early to overcome the losses incurred due to the Galaxy Note 7 fiasco.

While not much information regarding the smartphone’s specifications have been revealed yet, a report suggested that the Samsung Galaxy S8 will be the first smartphone to come with optical fingerprint recognition.

In fact, Lee Kyeong-tae, Samsung’s VP for mobile communications was even reported by WSJ as saying during a conference that the upcoming Galaxy S8 will feature a ‘slick design and improved camera, as well as enhanced artificial-intelligence service.’

We will probably have to wait for the company to give out official information regarding their upcoming device but it appears like Samsung has big plans underway for its much-anticipated premium flagship.
